Radio CDN: A new headquarters to strengthen press freedom in Cibitoke

The CDN Association (Cibitoke Diaspora Network) has just reached a major milestone in its development by launching the construction of its own headquarters in Cibitoke. This new building will house the radio station's activities and those of the Cibitoke Diaspora Network Organization, marking a decisive turning point in the history of this local media institution.
Since its inception, Radio CDN has faced challenges related to the lack of a stable and suitable workspace. The station operated in precarious premises, which hampered its development and limited its technical capabilities. The construction of this new headquarters represents a strategic investment to ensure the sustainability, independence, and security of Radio CDN's operations.
"This project is crucial for our development and for promoting press freedom in the region," stated a Radio CDN representative. "We are proud of this progress and call upon partners and donors to support our initiative to contribute to strengthening access to information and the sustainable development of Cibitoke Province."
The new Radio CDN headquarters will provide a suitable workspace for producing and broadcasting reliable news, educational programs, and citizen debates. It will also strengthen ties between the diaspora and local communities, facilitating the coordination of solidarity initiatives and the mobilization of resources for local development.
